EbosiX Nigeria Cancellation Policy

EbosiX aims to provide reliable and efficient transportation services for riders and fair opportunities for driver partners. This Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which rides may be canceled and any applicable fees.

1. Rider Cancellation

Riders may cancel a ride request through the EbosiX app at any time.

Free Cancellation

Riders may cancel a ride within 2 minutes of requesting the ride without any cancellation fee.

Cancellation Fee

If a rider cancels a trip after the driver has accepted the ride and is already on the way, a small cancellation fee may apply. This fee helps compensate the driver for time and fuel.

Cancellation fees may apply if:

  • The rider cancels after the driver has been assigned for more than 2 minutes.
  • The driver has already arrived at the pickup location.
  • The rider fails to appear at the pickup point within the waiting period.

2. Driver Cancellation

Drivers may cancel a ride if necessary due to:

  • Rider not present at pickup location
  • Safety concerns
  • Incorrect pickup location
  • Vehicle or mechanical issues

Frequent or unnecessary cancellations by drivers may lead to account review or suspension.

3. Driver Waiting Time

After arriving at the pickup location, drivers may wait for up to 5 minutes. If the rider does not arrive within this time, the driver may cancel the trip and a cancellation fee may be charged to the rider.

4. No-Show Policy

If a rider does not appear at the pickup location within the allowed waiting period, the ride may be canceled and a cancellation fee may apply.

5. Technical Issues

If a cancellation occurs due to a technical problem within the EbosiX platform, the rider may contact EbosiX support to request a review.

6. Policy Enforcement

EbosiX reserves the right to review cancellation activity. Repeated misuse of the cancellation feature by riders or drivers may result in account restrictions or suspension.
